People are ofter unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway
If you are kind, people may accuse you of being selfish, and having ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway
What you spend years building, someone may try to destroy overnight;
Build anyway
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway
The good you do today, people will forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you have anyway
You see, in the final analysis, it's between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

Good day all,
That's the the near perfect way to live. No doubt a good guideline.
However we are where we are. When in Rome do as the Romans do. If you can't beat em' join em'.
When faced with reality, appropriate and justifiable actions should be taken.
I do not agree that "we are where we are" or "if you can't beat em' join em'". This is the easy way out. End of the day whether you are born or you are not born make no different....
Take Martin Luther King.
He was where he was... a land of discrimination and slavery. If he was to take this view, we will never have America as it is today.
He inspired us all because he had chosen to make a different, a hard way...
