My life in Bangkok

Sawadeeka....
What is life in Bangkok like? To me there's really not much difference. The people at work are really hospitable and friendly people, and most of the people on the street are gracious and gentle EXCEPT for the guys at the immigration. Somehow morning, day or night they have this sour looking face that's doesn't win any points for friendliness.

I haven't been out exploring the city though as nowadays they have all the pre-election demostrations so I don't feel too safe walking out and being possibly bombed to pieces. I even heard of teksi drivers who kick you out of the teksi if they find out that you're not supporting the same candidate as them? : Did I just say they were gentle people? :S

My favourite subject would be the Thai food. It's really so much more than the fare we get at our local Malaysian Thai restaurants. Initially it was a bit hard to adapt because most of the food was sour and spicy. And now I know I also have to be aware of what I am ordering because they seem to have a liking for blood. Eaten a noodle with beef/pork blood in your soup to make it tastier? O yuck, I only found out after I drank the whole bowl of soup.

And yes, there is a massage parlour everywhere. I think 6 out of 10 shops offers massage services. One of the more interesting service is called 'Body to Body Massage'. Somehow I doubt if I would be allowed to try that out :) But I know plenty of guys are imagining trying it out!!! (And I heard it's really shiooookkkk and not too expensive too) And "chickens" are all over the street but I thinkI am a bit prejudiced coz everyone looks like a "chicken" to me. And then when the real "chicken" is right in front of me, I doubt that she is a "chicken". SOOOO I am no expert on "chicken" watching :( But the other day, 3 chickens went into my apartment lift and there was 3 old hamsap men with them. Is it really soooo fun to have S*x with chickens??!!!

Let me discover and reveal more next time :)
I miss you Crystal, Mudpie and Monkey!!!! It's tough to be away from home :(
